The article presents the results of a prospective study carried out to assess the additional results obtained by the methods of functional and ultrasound diagnostics for the effective identification of cardiovascular risk factors in male military personnel during an in - depth medical examination. The application of the examination criteria established by the temporary instruction on the organization of medical examination, preventive and medical and health - improving measures, and dispensary observation of military personnel of the Armed Forces (2019) has increased the effectiveness of the primary detection during an in - depth medical examination of military personnel with risk factors for cardiovascular and atherosclerotic diseases. Suggestions for completing the diagnostic algorithm are given.
