Economic assessment of the usage of biological medications in military medicine

Abstract

By the example of rheumatoid arthritis was considered the methods of economic assessment of advisability of modern biological medication usage in military medicine. The usage of these medications leads to quick clinical response, decrease of the additional medication intake, decrease of the average duration of treatment, «move aside» time of permanent disablement. Modern active therapy can increase the effectiveness of treatment; improve the quality of life, decrease the average duration of hospital stay, following treatment expense and welfare payment for this category of ill.

Distinctions of urinary tract infections in military personnel doing military service in condition of High North

Abstract

For the purpose of improvement of the effectiveness of the treatment of urinary tract infections in military personnel in condition of High North were studied 505 clinical records of military personnel took the treatment from 1998 till 2009. It is established that the part of urinary tract infections from the urologic pathology in contract military personnel is higher than in draft military personnel. Among urinary tract infections prevails pyelonephritis associated with urolithiasis and abnormal development of kidneys. The main type of contamination under the acute pyelonephritis in military personnel is ascending. For this type dysuria, leukocyturia and bacteriuria are characteristic. For the hematogenous contamination pain in lumbar region, imperceptible leukocyturia, proteinuria are characteristic. Kidney carbuncles are higher in 2,5 times in draft military personnel. The main pathogen is aurococcus. «Gates» of this infection are furunculuses of different localization.

Abstract

118 patients with gastric ulcer and 112 healthy people (control set) were examined. It is established that determination of connections between phenotype, responsiveness of general circulation, variability of cardiac rhythm, types ofpersonality and levels of reactive anxiety allows to diagnose not only the prenosological and initial forms of gastric ulcer, but also to determine the tactics of conservative and surgical treatment of this disease.

Collagenbinding activity of Willebrand factor and thrombocyte aggregation in patients with frostbite

Abstract

In the article was quoted data about the thrombocyte aggregation and collagenbinding activity of Willebrand factor in the blood of 50 patients with local frostbite of third and forth degree. Thrombocyte aggregation was studied with the help of photometry. Collagenbinding activity of Willebrand factor was determined with the help of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. It was established that decrease of intensity, potential and rate of induced thrombocyte aggregation took place in patients. Collagenbinding activity of Willebrand factor in blood plasma increase in 1,7-2,6 times.

Radiative and hygienic passportization in Armed Forces, problems of its implementation and ways of perfection

Abstract

Radiative and hygienic passportization is one of the most actual pattern of socio and hygienic monitoring in Armed Forces. Radiative and hygienic passport is the main document which characterizes the safety control in military unit and uses the sources of ionizing radiation. Sanitary and epidemiologic institutions were imputed to control the formation of radiative and hygienic passports, analysis and generalization of its data, formation of conclusions about the condition of radiation security in the military units. According to radiative and hygienic passportization, which took place in 2009, the radiation security in the Armed Forces and organizations is satisfactory, but there are some problems of providing of radiation security of personnel under the professional and medical radiation. The salvation of its problems requires the effective work of official functionary of radiac object and institutions of state sanitary and epidemiological supervision in Armed Forces of Russian Federation.

Arkhangelsk military hospital celebrates 200 anniversary

Abstract

Military hospital in Arkhangelsk is the branch № 1 of 1469 naval clinical hospital of Northern Fleet. This hospital is the basic medical and preventive treatment facility and also clinical, training centre for students of Northern state medical university. Annually 3, 5 thousand people receive treatment in the hospital. The hospital has governmental licenses for 56 types of medical activities. There are 2 department of surgery, 1 surgery block. Patients can receive the therapeutic treatment in 4 medical departments.
