ABDOMINAL PAIN IN CHILDREN WITH IMPAIRED FUNCTIONS OF THE DIGESTIVE TRACT

Abstract

The most common causes of abdominal functional pain are functional diseases: functional dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, functional abdominal pain. In infants of the first year of life, the condition having the similar symptoms is called infantile colic. The paper considers the treatment of colic that is observed in almost 90% of the infants and disappears by 3-4 months of age in most cases.
