Abstract
The paper gives the data obtained by laser Doppler flowmetry on microcirculatory blood flow in the distal limb of patients with chronic renal failure after forming an arteriovenous fistula for programmed hemodialysis. Nervous regulation is shown to be unable to maintain the required value of blood flow along the exchange-type vessels in some patients with both high and moderate volume velocity of blood flow along the fistula.
