Abstract

The paper gives data on the epidemiology and etiology of tinea pedis. It shows that it is necessary to take into account compliance as an important factor for the effective treatment of tinea pedis. The fact that 1% film-forming terbinafine solution might be used once provided a high compliance in its treatment. The novel formulation 1% film-forming Lamisil® UNO. even though it is used once. is as effective as Fungoterbine and surpasses it in some parameters/
