Abstract

The paper describes a clinical case of the successful use of the second calcineurin inhibitor tacrolimus in an adolescent with nephrotic syndrome resistant to therapy with corticosteroids and cyclophosphan, as well as a concise review of literature on the use of this drug in different forms of chronic glomerulonephritis.
