Abstract
Cerebrovascular diseases are one of the most common vascular lesions in patients with diabetes mellitus. To detect and correct these disorders particularly in their early stages are the task of a primary health care physician (a therapist, an endocrinologist, a cardiologist, and a neurologist). The current approach to therapy involves the modification of all risk factors.
