Abstract

The indicators of arterial wall stiffness is an important factor that reflects a risk for cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, and their prognosis. It is important to keep in mind the effects of current groups of antihypertensive drugs on the indicators of arterial wall stiffness since these are potentially associated with the reduced risk of cardiovascular events and better prognosis in hypertensive patients.
