Abstract

The paper summarizes data on current treatments for urolithiasis in relation to the size and site of a concretion. It analyzes the efficiency and safety of shock-wave telelithotripsy, percutaneous nephrolithotripsy, and retrograde contact lithotripsy in the use of electrohydraulic, electropulse, pneumatic, ultrasound, and laser lithotripters.
