Abstract
Three cases of autoimmune pancreatitis were analyzed. Two patients underwent pancreaticoduodenal resection as cancer cannot be ruled out. The diagnosis of autoimmune pancreatitis was made postoperatively. The possibility of medical therapy was determined in the third case because indications for surgical intervention were absent.
