USE OF ACETYLCYSTEINE IN CLINICAL PULMONOLOGY

Abstract

The paper considers the new possibilities of using acetylcysteine known as a mucolytic agent in clinical pulmonology. Particular emphasis is placed on its antioxidant and antitoxic effects. The authors have proven the efficacy of acetylcysteine used in some interstitial and rare lung diseases.
