Laparoscopic hysterectomy is also performed in early tumor changes in the uterus. Techniques of its performance are transferred automatically from gynecology without any changes. The uterine manipulating device used during these operations is a universal instrument. Its application ensures much visual control of the operative field, reducing surgical complications. However, inserting the tip of the manipulating device into the tumor-affected uterine cavity may promote intraoperative tumor cell dissemination. It is expedient to develop new surgical techniques or modified models of atraumatic uterine manipulating devices.
