Abstract

The paper shows the possibilities of an objective estimate of sound perception thresholds in patients with conductive deafness by a test for recording short-latency brainstem auditory evoked potentials generated by frequency-specific stimuli. The paper gives examples of detecting the sensorineural component of hearing loss in patients with exudative otitis media.
