Abstract

Multiple organ dysfunction (MOD) is one of the most pressing problems of neonatology. This investigation has shown that the condition of newborn infants with MOD is determined by the intensity of oxidative stress. The topical areas of neonatology are to search and design of drugs with antioxidant properties and to study their efficacy.
