Abstract

Forearm dislocation ranks next to shoulder one on the list of the most common upper limb displacements. Simple forearm dislocation may contribute to the lower range of movement, degenerative changes in the elbow joint, heterotopic ossification, or neurological deficit. During dislocation, there may be complete injury to the medial collateral ligament. Posteroexternal forearm dislocation may lead to permanent valgus or varus instability that promotes overall deterioration of clinical and X-ray parameters.
