Abstract

The local and systemic use of anti-adhesive agents has not as yet yielded satisfactory results in the majority of clinical trials and some agents are still in an experimental stage. There are a lot of unsolved problems in describing the pathogenesis of peritoneal commissures and in using their prevention methods based on pathogenetic mechanisms.
