PHARMACOLOGICAL CORRECTION OF LOCAL IMMUNE DISORDERS IN PATIENTS WITH CANDIDA AND MYCOPLASMA GENITOURINARY TRACT INFECTION

Abstract
Clinical and immunological examinations were made in 70 reproductive-aged women with laboratorily verified Candida and Mycoplasma infection of the lower genitourinary tract. In addition to clinical changes, the patients were found to have dysfunctions in the cellular components of the innate immunity system: impairments in phagocytic activity and oxygen-dependent metabolism. Incorporation of aminodihydrophthalasinedione sodium (Galavit®) into their combination treatment regimen contributed to more obvious normalization of clinical manifestations and more positive immunological changes than in the comparison group.
