The authors describe their experience in diagnosing plastic bronchitis in 20 adult patients with different bronchopulmonary diseases and its treatment using repeated therapeutic bronchofibroscopies. Complete expansion of the collapsed portion of the lung has been confirmed by bronchoscopy, chest radiography, and chest computed tomography.
