Abstract

The paper describes a clinical case of a patient having granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegeneґs) who has developed infective endocarditis and myocardial infarction, a rare thromboembolic event. Difficulties in the differential diagnosis of infective endocarditis and vasculitides associated with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies are analyzed. The data available in the Russian and foreign literature are given.
