Rogatkln D., Dunaev A.

Abstract

Testing a hypothesis for the prethermal stimulation of blood microcirculation in the area of irradia-tion during low-intensity laser therapy (external skin and oral mucosal irradiation and intravenous laser blood irradiation procedures) showed that obvious microhemodynamic changes (a >0.8°C in-crease in the temperature of the irradiated surface) were observed in no more than 20% of cases; a visible reaction was absent in the other cases.

THE MULTICOMPONENT COMPLEX NEFRADOZ IN THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH UROLITHIASIS

Neimark A., Neimark B., Gatkin M., Nozdrachev N., Torbik D., Levin V., Razdorskaya M.

Abstract

The efficacy and safety of the multicomponent complex Nefradoz that was used to treat patients with nephrolithiasis after extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy and as a drug of lithokinetic therapy in patients with a stone in the lower third of the ureter were investigated. The treatment of 75 patients with nephrolithiasis was analyzed. Incorporation of nefradoz into a complex of treatment for patients with nephrolithiasis enhances the efficiency of lithokinetic therapy and favors the more favorable course in the postoperative period after extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy.

Kurllovlch S., Chekallna E., Belkovets A., Shcherbakova L.

Abstract

The paper shows the high antisecretory potential of the esomeprazole generic drug Emanera® (KRKA) in patients with acid-related diseases (ulcer disease and erosive gastroduodenitis) during long-term (48-hour) monitoring of intragastric pH. No cases of primary resistance have been found. Concluslon. Emanera® at a dose of 40 mg is suitable for use in acid-related diseases including situation with high demands on the level of suppression of acidity (optimized Helicobacter Pylori eradication, erosive GERD and Barrett's esophagus, extraesophageal manifestations of GERD, etc.).

Strutynsky A., Trlshlna V., Golubev Y., Golubeva G., Beketova E., Gorbacheva E.

Abstract

The efficiency of long-term (12-month) treatment with a fixed-dose combination of perindopril and amlodipine (Prestans, Servier) was studied in 68 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and arterial hypertension. This treatment was shown not only to produce a stable antihypertensive effect, to decrease left ventricular mass, and to considerably improve left ventricular diastolic function, but also to significantly lower pulmonary artery systolic pressure and to reduce the sizes of the right ventricle, the echographic signs of its systolic and diastolic dysfunction, the clinical and spirographic signs of bronchial obstructive syndrome, and the level of proinflammatory cytokines (tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-6).

HEMOCORRECTION METHODS IN THE TREATMENT OF PSORIASIS

Baityakov V., Filimonkova N., Novikova L.

Abstract

A total of 150 patients (mean age 37.5 years) with an exacerbation of generalized psoriasis vulgaris were examined to investigate the impact of plasmapheresis, ozone therapy, and their combination on its clinical course and some parameters of humoral immunity. A hyperactive humoral immune response with the high level of circulating immune complexes and the increased levels of IgM, IgA, and proinflammatory cytokines was found in the patients with psoriasis. Hemocorrection methods used in patients with psoriasis contributed to the enhanced clinical efficiency of treatment, better quality of life in the patients, and selective correction of impaired immunological parameters.
