Abstract
Intradermal injections of long-acting corticosteroids, the dose of which is limited by possible side effects, are used to treat local forms of alopecia areata (AA), which makes them unacceptable for extensive balding areas. In this connection, it is relevant to study the efficiency of treatment for local forms of AA by alternative topical immunosuppressive therapies.
