Abstract

The hyperthermia syndrome in a child is the most common reason for calling ambulance and emergency care in the hospital admission rooms. The paper discusses the causes of fever in children. It details a physician’s tactics in examining children of different age groups. Risk groups are presented. Recommendations for symptomatic therapy for hyperthermia are given.
