Abstract

The paper presents the unique Russian experience with surgical treatment for thoracic aortic dissection and aneurysms, by using an E-vita open plus stent graft. It discusses the epidemiology, clinical manifestations, and diagnosis of thoracic aortic diseases, as well as indications for frozen elephant trunk surgery.
