Comorbidity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract

The paper presents the frequency and pattern of comorbidities in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It gives the features of chronic kidney disease and the risk of cardiovascular disease in this group of patients. Monitoring intra-abdominal pressure in the postoperative period is necessary to prevent complications and reduce mortality.
