Abstract

The main task of pharmacotherapy for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is to prevent the development and progression of liver fibrosis. Currently, there are disputes about the efficacy of these or those hepatoprotectors; the ambiguity of this issue makes one search for optimal approaches to treating patients with liver disease.
