Occupational diseases, their diagnostics, the order of medical examinations, and working capacity examination are regulated by the normative documents of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

ADULT-ONSET ATOPIC DERMATITIS
Abstract
Adult-onset atopic dermatitis is observed in 1-3% of adults. The concept of adult-onset atopic dermatitis has relatively recently come into use in the scientific literature. In most cases, atopic dermatitis results in a fairly sustained remission before puberty begins. However, in recent years, there have been more and more adult-onset atopic dermatitis cases when the disease persists or even starts to occur in adults. Atopic dermatitis in adult patients has the features of its clinical course and does not meet the diagnostic criteria adopted in pediatric practice. Therefore, the disease in adult patients becomes the diagnosis of exclusion in most cases, especially in de novo cases.

SURGICAL RISK IN ELECTIVE SURGERY
Abstract
The paper reflects the experience of studying a surgical risk in elective surgery and proposes a formula for individual quantitative perioperative prognosis during operations on thoracic and abdominal organs in patients with benign and malignant diseases. A classification of perioperative prognoses has been made; me characteristics of physicians’ decision making interventions in different perioperative prognoses have been studied; a number of theoretical issues of surgical risk solved.

ENDOTHELIAL PROTECTION IN THE REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS WITH POSTSTROKE APHASIA
Abstract
An open randomized controlled study was conducted to comprehensively examine the dynamics of recovery of speech functions and to simultaneously estimate the level of markers for endothelial dysfunction in patients with prior ischemic stroke when naftidrofuryl (Duzofarm) is incorporated into the treatment regimen.

COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT AND ANOSOGNOSIA IN THE ACUTE PERIOD OF ISCHEMIC STROKE
Abstract
The authors have conducted a comprehensive neuropsychological examination and evaluated the severity of neurological status (using standard scales) in 64 patients in acute ischemic stroke. They present data on the detection rate of cognitive impairment and anosognosia in these patients.

THE LEVELS OF CYTOKINES AND GROWTH FACTORS IN PREDICTING OCCUPATIONAL LUNG DISEASES
Abstract
The determination of an immunological profile in dust-induced lung diseases (chronic dust-induced bronchitis, silicosis, and pneumoconiosis due to exposure to welding aerosols) allows one not only to improve the quality of early diagnosis, but also to optimize the strategy of primary and secondary prevention, to predict the course of disease, and to reduce the frequency of incapacitating forms.

SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR INTRATEMPORAL TUMORS OF THE FACIAL NERVE
Abstract
The existing management tactics for patients with intratemporal tumors of the facial nerve (microsurgical tumor excision with reconstruction of the facial nerve) is today complemented with more conservative methods: wait-and-see tactics with a follow-up, nerve decompression, and stereotactic radiosurgery. Nerve plasty with direct neurorrhaphy or autograft improves the function of the facial muscles. No tumor recurrences were recorded during the follow-up.

REPRESENTATION OF THE ISSUES OF MEDICAL REHABILITATION AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN PATIENTS WITH BREAST CANCER IN THE SCIENTIFIC MEDICAL LITERATURE
Abstract
To assess the scientific interest of medical investigators in and their attitude to the problem of medical rehabilitation and quality of life in patients with breast cancer, publications on this topic were analyzed. Content analysis was used as a method of qualitative and quantitative assessments of texts and text arrays, which allows the content interpretation of the found data and the formation of a picture of vision of the problem under study in modern medicine.

L-CARNITINE INJECTIONS IN THE EARLY REHABILITATION PERIOD OF ISCHEMIC STROKE
Abstract
The use of L-carnitine in patients with acute cerebrovascular accident substantially decreased the frequency of both cerebral and general somatic complaints (which was associated with a reduction in neurological deficit severity using the NIHSS scale) and the level of general asthenia and psychoemotional defect, which lowered outside help dependency in patients (by the Barthel index).

HYPERTENSIVE ANGI0RETIN0PATHY: CLINICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS, CURRENT DIAGNOSIS
Abstract
Hypertensive angioretinopathy is detected in 40% of cases. Analysis of morphopathological, clinical, and morphological (according to optical coherence tomography data) findings, as well as data of current diagnosis (by taking into account blood flo win the retinal central artery and retinal photosensitivity) is of importance for the early diagnosis of retinopathy in hypertension.
