Abstract

The paper considers principles in the management of patients with concomitant diseases, such as coronary heart disease, hypertension, and their natural outcome - chronic heart failure (CHF). A combination of perindopril and amlodipine is proposed as a possible modality for medication correction. It is easy-to-use, improves quality of life in patients, and enhances their treatment compliance. The paper describes a clinical case of incorporating the combination drug Prestans in the early postinfarction combination therapy in a female patient with hypertension and CHF.
