DIAGNOSIS OF DIABETIC AUTONOMOUS CARDIOVASCULAR NEUROPATHY IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WITH TYPE I DIABETES IN TATARSTAN
Shaidullina М.R., Valeeva F.V., Yakupov E.Z., Nalbat А.V.
Abstract
In 75 patients aged 5-17 years with type I diabetes evaluation of parameters of heart rate variability was performed and the results of four cardiovascular function tests were obtained. Diabetic autonomic cardiovascular neuropathy was diagnosed in 3 out of 7 tests. Its presence was stated in 34.67% of patients. A clear association of disease with poor metabolic control - high blood glucose variability, systematic hypoglycemic states was revealed. Increased heart rate in the orthostatic test for at least 25% may be the selection criterion for the formation of risk groups for the development of diabetic cardiovascular autonomous neuropathy.

FACTORS OF SENIOR AGE ALCOHOLISM DEVELOPMENT
Mingazov А.K., Кrivulin Е.N., Bohan N.A.
Abstract
The conducted clinical epidemiology study analyzes the prevalence of senior age alcoholism among patients hospitalized with this pathology in 2006 - 2010. An increase in absolute and relative characteristics of hospitalized patients over 60 with evident manifestation of alcohol addiction has been established. Most notably male addicts with alcohol-related psychoses undergo hospital treatment 5.5 times as often as female addicts. Some gender-specific medical, biological, and socio-demographic factors responsible for the development of alcohol addiction in this patient group have been identified, as well as guidelines for alcohol abuse prevention in senior males and females have been defined.

Mendelevich B.D., Kuklina A.M.
Abstract
There has been made an analysis of neurological diseases prevalence rate among the mental patients and treatment of this group of patients. More often patients suffering from organic brain disorder attend doctors (vascular dementia). Among mental patients the main neurological pathologies are strokes. The mental patients rarely attend a doctor-neurologist on their own, and they do not complain.

EPIDEMIOLOGIC PECULIARITIES OF DORSALGIA IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
Anisimova S.Y., Rachin А.P.
Abstract
A survey of 1005 schoolchildren aged 6-17 years, including 52.4% of pupils of secondary urban schools and 47.6% of students of urban secondary gymnasium has been performed. There was detected frequency of back pain in schoolchildren and the structure of this pathology was presented. It was found that the frequency of back pain in children is affected by demographic factors (age and sex) and some social factors.

CLINICAL MANIFESTATION AND PLATELET HEMOSTASIS PARAMETERS IN PATIENTS WITH DIFFERENT VARIANTS OF LACUNAR STROKE
Goldobin V.V., Klocheva E.G., Bibulatov B.V.
Abstract
The clinical and laboratory study of 43 patients in acute stage of lacunar stroke, confirmed by CT or MRI of brain, and of 18 healthy persons was performed. There was non-severe stroke with significant clinical improvement during the observation, that followed by decreasing of mean platelet volume on the 10th day of the stroke. Flow-cytometry method revealed platelet activation in patients with lacunar stroke, which was not revealed by aggregometry. There was higher degree of platelet activation, but less marked expression of fibrinogen receptors on platelet surface in patients with manifest lacunar stroke comparing with asymptomatic one.

Altunbaev R.A., Sabirova M.Z.
Abstract
The article deals with the physiological basis of muscle tone regulation, as well as spasticity, the impact on the tone of spinal-supraspinal mechanisms of peripheral regulation, the meaning of the gamma-anterior horn neurons of the spinal cord, central regulation, including the pyramidal system. We considered the pathology of the regulation of muscle tone and its symptoms: spasticity, muscle spasm and pain. Receptor «targets» of different pharmacological groups of muscle relaxants are presented.

LESION OF UPPER MOTOR NEURON AND BOTULINOTHERAPY, PATHOPHYSIOLOGIC ASPECTS
Zalyalova Z.A.
Abstract
Movement disorders at lesions of the upper motor neuron caused by damage of brain and (or) the spinal cord and leading to the formation of spastic paresis and paralysis are one of the most common causes of disability among neurological patients. A correct understanding of the pathophysiological basis of clinical manifestations of the formation of the upper motor neuron lesion makes it possible to choose the most appropriate and successful methods of predictive correction. Using botulinum therapy in conjunction with non-pharmacological methods of rehabilitation to reduce the activity of phasic and tonic reflexes to stretch of associated reductions, synkinesis, spastic dystonia and spasticity will improve muscle elasticity and mobility of the limbs, reduce dependence on others, eliminate pain, joint stiffness, infection, and strain soft tissues.
