Abstract
The article refers to optical fibre extraction zone as a controlled object with on output of an
optical fibre with given diameter. The fibre diameter is controlled by varying furnace temperature
and extraction speed. The control system of extraction zone is desighed with consideration
of blank's diameter trend.
