Abstract
The analysis of influence of double hardening and false cementation, direction of a fibre and
the form of a cut of samples on impact strength chisel steels (0,19% C, 0,35-0,65% Cr, 0,6-
0,95% Mn, 0,35-0,75% Ni, 0,2-0,3% Mo) Open Society MZ «Izhstal» manufactures, Open Society
MZ «Electrostal», Open Society «OEMK», Open Society MZ «Krasnyi Oktyabr» is made.
It is established that implementing false cementation instead of double heat hardening can reduce
the values of impact strength - by 4-8 %, change of a longitudinal fibre on cross-section
- from 10 to 65 %, change of an U-shaped cut on V-shaped - from 16 to 50 %. It is recommended
for improvement of quality entrance control of finished сhisel steels to define impact
strength on samples of Sharpi with a longitudinal and cross-section arrangement of a fibre.
