The boundary inverse heat conduction problems based on parametric optimization

Abstract


Boundary inverse thermal conductivity problem, formulated in the extremal form is solved.
Problem is considered as an optimal control process with distributed parameters under the restriction
of the set of control inputs to a class of continuous and continuously differentiable
functions. Using the parameterization of control actions, the problem is reduce to a nonsmooth
problem of mathematical programming. Solution is based on the special method that takes into
account alternance properties of desired extremals.
