Abstract
Information about the work of the Council for Professional Qualifications in the field of telecommunications, postal communications and radio engineering is presented. Professional standards developed for the high-tech field of quantum communications are indicated. Information about the pilot project on independent qualification assessment of college students "Installer of quantum communications network (level 3 qualification)" is shown.
