Candidosis of mucuos membranes of digestive tract: clinical importance and modern methods of treatment

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the current state of the problem of candidamycosis with localization in the digestive tract; author discusses the issues of antifungal resistance in human and significance of these violations, as well as pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and diagnosis of candidamycosis. Current standards of treatment of candidamycosis of the mucous membranes of the upper gastrointestinal tract, including the latest revision of the recommendations published in the US in 2009 are discussed. Detailed recommendations for the treatment of oropharyngeal and esophageal candidamycosis are presented.
