Abstract

The present article is dedicated to general concepts of the plant teas; their medical use is justified, general principles of their use are discussed. It is emphasized that medicinal plant teas are the most popular and widely used form of medicinal plant raw material processing. The most popular medicinal plant teas are following: antimicrobial, gastrointestinal, urological, breast, sedative, choleretic, antisclerotic, antispasmodic, antiflatulent, diuretic, and antiasthmatic.
