Abstract

The article highlights the importance of nutrition in the perinatal period and in infancy in terms of the formation of predisposition to disease in adulthood. Recent data on the role of food components in the physical and psychomotor development of premature infants are presented. The modern approach to a step-by-step scheme of feeding of premature infants is substantiated.
