Abstract

The article discusses the problem of dyscirculatory encephalopathy (DEP), a chronic cerebrovascular disease, characterized by multifocal or diffuse brain damage with complex of neurological and neuropsychological manifestations. Data for etiology and pathogenesis, morphological and clinical manifestations of disease, diagnostic criteria and treatment guidelines for DEP are presented.
