Abstract

Modern international and national guidance on a strategy for treatment and prevention of bronchial asthma distinguish the role of the respiratory viral infection in the strengthening of the inflammatory process in bronchial asthma. Respiratory viral infection is the most common trigger of asthma in childhood. Acute respiratory viral infection is often precede appearance of bronchial asthma. The majority of children with bronchial asthma the occurrence of the first attack suffocation due to the accession of acute respiratory infection. In 60-85 % of cases the cause of exacerbations of asthma are respiratory viruses. Recurrent respiratory infection is often caused by lack of control of asthma symptoms, despite the basic therapy. Effective anti-inflammatory drugs for the prevention of exacerbations of virus-induced bronchial asthma in children and adults at the present stage are leykotrienovyh receptor antagonists.
