Abstract

The article describes the current understanding of the mechanisms of the impact of microflora on the local intestinal immune system and the influence of microflora on this polyfunctional vital system. Based on solid scientific studies proving multifarious positive effect of probiotic strains on the body, their use in the present conditions is reasonable in the pediatric population. The use of drug Narine containing Lactobacillus acidophilus, is justified since it is an effective method of restoring a normal microflora, and the functions of gastrointestinal tract.
