Abstract

The article considers current concepts of bronchial asthma (BA) control, and criteria for the severity and complications of this disease, used in pediatric practice. The approaches to the pharmacotherapy of BA of varying severity in children of different ages are discussed. It is emphasized that in pediatric practice successful treatment of BA is not possible without a partnership and trust relationship between the doctor, sick child, his parents and relatives.
