Abstract

The article describes in detail the various ointments and gels, which are used for the treatment of chronic vein diseases and their complications. The mechanisms of action of drugs, which provide local therapeutic effect, as well as features of anatomy and physiology of the skin of the lower limbs, and the nature of the pathological process influencing this effect is discussed. The classification phlebological local drugs is presented; the features of their application in various clinical situations is described.
