Abstract

The article is devoted to the prevention of cholelithiasis in patients with acromegaly receiving long-acting synthetic somatostatin analogues (SAs) as a primary or secondary therapy for a long time. The data on the effectiveness of inclusion of ursodeoxycholic acid in the treatment for the prevention of adverse effects of SAs, that make difficult their further use, are presented.
