Abstract

The article discusses the problem of diagnosis and treatment of acute back pain. Data on the etiology, pathogenesis, classification, clinical picture, diagnosis and principles of treatment of this pathology are presented. Particular attention is paid to non-selective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents acting on both types of cyclooxygenase (eg, ketoprofen), which are the drugs of choice for treatment of vertebrogenous pain syndromes.
