详细

Histamine is one of the most important biogenic amines involved in many physiological and pathological processes in the human body. At the present time, 4 types of histamine receptors are recognized. H1-receptors play the most important role in the development of allergic reactions. History of use of antihistamines includes approximately 70 years. These drugs have anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory effects. Currently, the pharmaceutical market represented a sufficiently large number of antihistamines, but not all of them can be applied in children up to 6-month age. This article presents data on the histamine receptor and H1-receptor agonists used in pediatric practice: types of drugs, forms of presentation, efficiency, safety and use.
