Abstract

The article presents the new epidemiological, pathogenetic and clinical data regarding chronic diseases of the venous system of the lower extremities. In particular, article discusses the modern pathogenesis of varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency, as well as their relationship to leukocyte-endothelial reaction. The potentials for the pharmacotherapy of this pathology is analyzed.
