Abstract

The article presents the results of a comparative evaluation of the course intraperitoneal administration of Cortexin and piracetam (Nootropil) on humoral, cellular components of the immune system and the mechanisms of innate immunity in mice. It is shown that piracetam has no immunomodulatory effect, and Cortexin administrated for 10 days stimulates T-cell response in delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction and activates the phagocytic activity of polymorphonuclear leukocytes.
