Abstract

The article presents the characteristics of the different variants of peripheral vestibular vertigo, such as acute vestibular syndrome, Meniere's disease, and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The clinical results of the use of the drug Vertigoheel for the treatment of peripheral vestibular vertigo compared with other drugs are considered. It is concluded that the use of Vertigoheel is reasonable to recommend for patients for the purpose of reduction of acute vestibular crisis at home, because the drug is high effective and well tolerated. Notably, Vertigoheel has no known interaction with other drugs that is particularly important for the treatment of older patients with chronic comorbid diseases.
