Abstract
The article presents the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of polyneuropathy (PNP) - a widespread lesion of the peripheral nervous system. The potentials for the use of thioctic acid as a pathogenetically justified, safe and effective method in PNP are discussed.
