Abstract

The article discusses the issues of pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of chronic venous edema (CVE) of the lower limbs. Treatment of CVE involves the use of a set of measures, each of which solves specific problems. One of the promising areas of CVE therapy is targeted compensation of microcirculatory disorders. In this regard, Actovegin - a drug with a pronounced metabolic effect, is of great clinical interest.
