Abstract

In recent years, the possible advantages of some thiazide and tiazide-like diuretics in terms of effectiveness and fewer adverse events are actively discussing. The article presents consentient and controversial positions regarding the choice of thiazide and tiazide-like diuretics for the treatment of hypertension.
