Abstract

Allergic rhinitis is one of the most pressing global health problems, characterized by steady growth in the number of cases and severe economic burden. Topical glucocorticosteroids are the drug of choice in the treatment of patients with allergic rhinitis. Mometasone furoate in the form of a nasal spray has the best safety profile and allows to control the symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
